• Who is DIMEX S.R.L.?

DIMEX S.R.L. is a privately owned corporation located in Bucharest, the capital city of Romania. We have been in the furniture export business since 1991.

• Where do we export?

We currently export toys and furniture to the E.U. market, as well as the Asian and Japanese markets.

• Do our toys meet E.U. safety standards?

Yes, all of our toys meet the safety requirements of the DIN-EN 71 rule, as we use non toxic paints and lacquers, imported from the E.U.

• Can our furniture items be manufactured in custom sizes, with different types of woods, and custom finishes?

Yes, all furniture items can be manufactured according to each customer's required size, and finish. We can finish our items nature, lacquered nature, and with any types of stains and paints giving any color or shade desired.

The wood types available are: pine, poplar, beech, oak, maple, walnut, and cherry.

We can also reproduce any custom furniture or toy item, or part thereof, as per the customer's request. For a price quotation each customer must send us by e-mail, fax or regular mail, a design drawing to include size, type of wood desired, and approximate quantity desired.

• Can our furniture items be delivered unassembled (K/D)?

Yes, almost all of our furniture items can be delivered unassembled, as per each customer's desire.

• What are the accepted payment methods?

1. Documentary Letter of Credit: irrevocable, at sight, partially utilizable, confirmed, drafted on a Romanian bank.
2. Wire Transfer: 30 % at order placement and 70 % upon delivery advising.

• What is the lead time for order placement?

The lead time for placing an order depends on the order size and the items involved. Usually for a 20/40 ft. container the lead time for the first order is from 40 to 60 days for the first delivery and 20-40 days for subsequent orders.

A delivery schedule can be worked out for repeated customer.

• What shipping methods are available?

Depending on the delivery location we have the following shipping methods:

1. Ocean Freight: 20/40 ft. containers loaded on board in Constantza-port, Romania.
2. Truck delivery: for Europe only.
3. Air Freight: used in special cases only, airfreight is available at the customer's request for fast sample delivery.

• Are samples available?

Yes, samples can be manufactured per each customer's request. The samples are not free; each client supports the sample and shipping cost.
